Briarwood Farm is a boutique thoroughbred agistment property owned and run under the expert management of Lisa and
Gavin McMaster.

Starting out as a small concern in 2002, the business grew rapidly as Lisa and Gavin established a reputation for uncompromising quality of care and attention to detail.  Five years on, they had outgrown the Pakenham South property and an outstanding 100 acre prime grazing cattle farm at Cora Lynn was purchased in 2007. 5ft weldmesh safety fencing has again been used throughout the new property.

The consistent presence of Group level horses at Briarwood is testament to the confidence and trust placed in them by leading trainers and bloodstock agents. Increasingly, buyers are sending their yearlings to Briarwood from the yearling sales throughout Australia and New Zealand, looking to ensure the safety of their investment.

Gavin and Lisa work the farm themselves, thus ensuring their high standards are consistently maintained.
